We acknowledge the Wiradjuri people, the traditional custodians of the land where we live. Wiradjuri Country is a beautiful and sacred Country and we are thankful to live on this land.
We pay our respects to the Elders past and present. We also acknowledge the work and legacy of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Christian Leaders and thank God for them.
We acknowledge that Aboriginal sovereignty has never been ceded. We acknowledge the gravity of the work needed to undo the continuing impacts of colonisation here. We commit to prayer and action, in a spirit of love and truth.
We commit to walk softly and gently on this land. May we take our place in bringing healing and flourishing, which is a central calling of our Christian faith.”
